Day 01 Delhi – Ludhiana
In the early morning, board Ludhiana
bound express train, arrive by midday,
board our vehicles and drive to Aliwal
which witnessed a Sikh force consisting
of approximately 7,000 cavalry and 17,000
infantry, half of which were regular
troops, in a defensive formation with
a river to its rear under Sir Henry
Smith directions. In the evening return
to Ludhiana.
Day 02 Ludhiana – Firozpur
– Ludhiana Drive
Ludhiana – Delhi Evening Train
Morning drive to Mudki, south-east
of Ferozepur, witnessed first battlefield
between Lord Hardinge and the Sikhs.
The first Anglo-Sikh war was fought
in Ferozepur during 1845. Anglo-Sikh
War Memorial at Ferozeshah, was set
up in 1976 A.D. The portraits of important
historical personalities and battle
scenes have been portrayed here by
artists. From here we drive to Sobraon
village, where another Anglo –
Sikh clash took place. Later in the
evening, we return to Ludhiana railway
station and board Delhi bound Express
train. Arrive Delhi, transfer to hotel.

Day 01 Delhi – Ludhiana

Day 03 Amritsar – Delhi
Evening Train
This morning we will explore, Golden
temple, the architecture is a blend
of the Hindu and Muslim styles. As the
sun shifts, the temple presents myriad
views, each magnificent and captivating.
Jalianwala bagh, This place is noted
for its most notorious massacre under
British rule on the Directions of General
Dyer, who personally led the troops
to the site and ordered to open fire
without any warning. Remainder of the
day at leisure, in the evening board
express train for Delhi, arrive and
transfer to hotel.

Day 01 Fly To Calcutta
In the morning fly to Calcutta, the 1st
administrative capital of Raj Era. In
the year 1912, it was shifted to Delhi.
Our exploration today includes Victoria
Memorial with its fine picture collection,
1847 St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the
amazing South Park Cemetery. Walk around
various buildings of British Empire, including
the famous, writer’s building; they
all are occupied by Government offices,
therefore, some of them are forbidden
for visitors. Remainder of the day at
leisure.
Day 02 Calcutta - Barrackpore
Drive
Calcutta
– Delhi Fly
After breakfast, check –out from
hotel, drive to Barakpur located on
the eastern bank of Ganges, where the
initial revolt took place, then British
Empire took direct control of India,
huge houses and buildings were constructed
here to facilitate the viceroy with
a suburban residence 25 Km. (15 miles)
away from Calcutta city called viceroy’s
gardens or Lat Bagahan. As the first
military base of East India Company
with many barracks, the site was named
barrackpore.
From Calcutta, we sail past the Old
Danish colony of Serampore and cross
over to Barrackpore, where we disembark
and walk through the cantonment past
the Semaphore Tower, Government House,
the Temple of Fame and Flagstaff House.
From here, we will drive direct to airport
through legendry trunk road, in time
to board Delhi bound flight. Arrive
Delhi and transfer to hotel or International
airport for onward journey.

the death of Tipu Sultan. Later, we drive
a short distance to Mysore (the city of
fragrance), arrive and check-in at hotel
Day 02 Mysore – Bangalore
Drive
Most of the day will be spent in Mysore
sightseeing, in the late afternoon,
we will drive to Bangalore, arrive and
check – in at hotel.
Day 03 Bangalore – Bombay
Fly
After leisurely breakfast, city tour,
late in the afternoon fly to Bombay.

Early morning train to Kalka, on arrival
immediately, board connecting toy train
to Shimla, chugging through various small
tunnels, snooty arched bridges and stops
en-route at picturesque stations with
incredible views. Arrive Shimla in the
evening and transfer to the Hotel. After
wash and change, stroll along the Mall
Road.
Day 02 In Shimla Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore this summer
capital of Raj era, the Rashtrapati
Niwas, formerly the residence of the
British Viceroy, the State Museum, which
has a modest collection of statues from
different parts of Himachal Pradesh,
Jakhu Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman
(Monkey God), Summer Hill, Prospect
Hill, Wildflower Hall, Kufri ski resort
at a distance of 16 Km.
Day 03 Shimla – Kalka
Drive
Kalka
– Delhi Train
Today whole morning is at leisure to
enjoy the tranquility of this hill station.
After lunch, we drive down to Kalka
through lofty hilly roads, with picturesque
views, in time to board express train
to Delhi, arrive Delhi, transfer to
hotel or airport for onward journey.

Visiting : Calcutta
Day 01 Fly To Calcutta
In the morning fly to Calcutta, arrive
and transfer to historic Tollygunge Club.
After checking-in formalities and wash
n change, we explore the Victoria Memorial,
with collections of paintings of scenes
along the River Ganges and family portraits
of notable figures from the East India
Company and the early Raj. The 1847 St.
Paul’s Cathedral. If time allows,
we may go for short cruise along the Hugli
water front to observe the activities
going on along the river bank. Later return
to Tollygunge club.
Day 02: In Calcutta
Early in the morning, we will visit
the flower markets, while it will be
in full swing, with the East India Company’s
warehouses at the back drop. A walking
tour through the statue maker’s
market brings to life whole culture,
legend and faith. Other sites, we explore
today are great Raj houses and institutions,
the University area, the Coffee House,
Fort William (exterior views only) St.
John’s Church, Zoffany’s
painting and the oldest British grave,
the marble Palace. Return to Tollygunge.
Day 03 Calcutta – Departure
Today we will explore South Park Cemetery
with its extraordinary memorials and
tombs. In the afternoon, we transfer
to airport in time for Delhi bound /
onward flight.
