While we get the glimpses of two countries, at the same time discover the best of north India and Nepal. After exploring sites of Delhi; Mughal’s to Raj, we get glimpses of Rajput highlights in Jaipur - The pink city. Continuing our journey, we arrive at Agra; here we admire “Taj Mahal”, the marble wonder and the Agra Fort. From here we board train to Jhansi and there onwards drive on to medieval township of Orcha for overnight stay. Next glimpses we get of the Khajuraho temples famous for their erotic sculpture of Chandela dynasty and Varansi (Benaras) has been a centre of learning and civilization for over 3000 years and cremation ghats with wealth of ancient temples as well as the Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. From Varanasi, we fly to Kathmandu the capital of the Himalayan Kingdom – Nepal, after spending few days to explore the beauty and relax in this tranquil atmosphere, we fly back to Delhi where a night is spent before flying out to home.

In the morning stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) and then drive on to Amber, the former capital of Jaipur. From the foot of this hilltop Fort / Palace ascent on an elephant back (subject to availability otherwise by jeep). Return to hotel and the afternoon at leisure for personal activities and exploration.

In the morning, leave for day long drive to Agra the city of Mughal highlight the Taj Mahal. En –route visit the abandoned city of Akbar at Fatehpur Sikri, built in 1569 AD as his capital for a short period. Arrive Agra and check – In at a hotel.

Morning a guided tour of Taj Mahal and giant Agra Fort. Afternoon at leisure. An optional tour of Itmad ul Daula’s Tomb and sunset visit of Taj Mahal.

In the morning transfer in time to board Shatabdi express train for a short journey to Jhansi and transfer by ac transport to Orcha (in Madhya Pradesh) a medieval township with beautiful temple complex and Jehangir Mahal Palace, a fine example of architecture from Bundela dynasty (16th to 18th centuries). Arrive Orcha by lunch time and check – in at a hotel. In the afternoon orientation tour of this unique town.

Morning at leisure, with the option of a visit to Panna Tiger Reserve. Early afternoon fly to Varanasi, arrive and transfer to a hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure.

Varanasi, or Benaras, (also known as Kashi) is one of the oldest living cities in the world, prominence in Hindu mythology is virtually unrivalled. Mark twain, the English author and litterateur, who was enthralled by the legend and sanctity of Benaras, once, wrote: "Beneras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together ".

Early morning at dawn transfer to ghats for a boat ride on the Ganges to witness the ritual bathing, people practicing yoga, burning funeral pyres and more on the banks of Ganges. Return to hotel for breakfast. In the morning drive, a short distance to Sarnath where lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. In the afternoon transfer to airport in time to board Kathmandu bound flight. Arrive Kathmandu the capital of this Himalayan Kingdom and transfer to a hotel.

In the morning set out for sightseeing, visit Swayambhunath temple, walk through centre of the capital including Durbar Square, surrounded by number of important monuments. It may be possible to get glimpses of “Kumari” or the living goddess. Afternoon at leisure.

Early morning optional mountain flight to get view of Everest, subject to weather conditions and availability. During rest of the day explore the medieval town of Patan and Bhadgaon.
Evening a farewell dinner.

Transfer to Kathmandu airport in time to board Delhi bound flight. Arrive toDelhi airport and transfer to a hotel for overnight stay. Remainder of the day at leisure.

In the early morning transfer to the international airport for onward destination.
